Where each tool starts
Novelcrafter starts with the world: a Codex, a plan, and a model you connect with your own key. The studio starts with a brief and does not ask you to pick a model; it tries a Claude model, then Gemini, then an open model, and logs which wrote each chapter.
What happens after the draft
Novelcrafter is built for the long work of a novel or a series. The studio is built for the finish: rewrite a section, set a cover, export PDF, EPUB and DOCX with the structure intact.
Which workflow fits whom
A novelist managing characters, places and continuity across books, who wants control over the model and its cost, should use Novelcrafter. A writer of guides, workbooks and lead magnets — or anyone who wants a chaptered draft and clean files without managing API keys — should use the studio.
