A practical sequence

Describe the reader and the useful change the book should make — or tick "Build it from my own material" and paste notes, a transcript or a .docx.

Pick a format and a voice, then a language and a length.

Approve or edit the outline: rename, reorder, add or remove chapters.

Write the chapters — one at a time or all the missing ones in sequence — and rewrite any that read weak.

Set the cover: a layout and a palette, optionally a wordless artwork under the type.

Export PDF, EPUB and DOCX, and the cover JPEG for the store.

After the files: the listing pack (titles, description, keywords, categories, last page), the pre-flight check against KDP's limits, a translated edition, or book two briefed from book one.

Common questions
Straight answers
Does it write the whole book at once?+
No. It writes an outline first, then one chapter at a time, so a weak chapter can be rewritten without regenerating the rest.
Can it use what I already wrote?+
Yes. Paste text or choose a .txt, .md or .docx of up to about 10,000 words; the outline and the chapters are made from that material and told not to invent past it.
What happens after the book is written?+
Three things, from the same shelf: a translated edition in any of 8 languages (a new book, chapter by chapter from the original, cover included); a series — the next book briefed from the last, asked to continue rather than repeat; and the KDP listing pack with a pre-flight check that reads Amazon's own limits, dated.
Is the text ready to publish?+
It is a draft. Review every claim, edit the voice and check the rules of the marketplace you publish on before uploading. On KDP an AI-written first draft must be declared; the AI eBook FAQ under Guides explains the two categories.
