What the studio is for
Build an Ebook writes and designs books you intend to publish or share under your own name: guides, courses, lead magnets, reports, workbooks, fiction. It is an independent product built on third-party language and image models, not affiliated with their makers. Everything it produces is generated by those models from your brief and is yours to edit, and you are the publisher of what you export.
What it will not write or draw
- NSFW content of any kind: sexually explicit, suggestive or pornographic text or cover artwork, and anything sexual involving minors.
- Content that depicts, praises or instructs violence, terrorism, self-harm, or the making of weapons or drugs.
- Harassment, threats, or content that demeans people for who they are.
- Cover artwork of real, identifiable people — including public figures — or artwork meant to imitate a living artist's signature style.
- Deceptive content: fake reviews, impersonation, misinformation presented as fact, or books meant to deceive a reader or a marketplace.
- Text you do not have the right to use — another author's book, a paid course you did not write — pasted in as material to rewrite.
- Medical, legal or financial instructions presented as professional advice without saying they are not.
How it is enforced
Every cover artwork description is screened before it reaches an image model; a description that fails the screen is not drawn and the account is told why. Chapter requests that ask for the content above are refused by the models and may be reviewed. Repeated attempts end the account, and no refund is owed for a plan closed for these reasons.
Marketplaces
Amazon KDP and other stores have their own content and disclosure rules — KDP requires you to declare AI-generated text and images at publish time. The studio's pre-flight check reminds you; following those rules is your responsibility as the publisher.
